First Look At New Summerdale Restaurant, Opens Tonight

We were invited last night to try out new Summerdale restaurant before it officially opens tonight. Local restaurateur Marty Fosse and neighborhood design aficionado Thom Greene have brought together a space that celebrates all things local. From a down-to-earth menu to the hyper-local images of historic Edgewater on the wall.
The spacious bar lit up by classic Americana-style lights should serve up some great drinks. The cocktails such as the Dark & Stormy (black rum, lime, ginger beer) and the Swizzle (white rum, pimm’s, galliano, orgeat, lime, strawberry) will surely get your night off on the right track. A well thought out beer list will also be available.
The dinner menu is not complex at all. Just a select number of items that are all true blue comfort foods. If anyone can do a Mac & Cheese proud, it will be Marty! There is also a Double Napkin Burger which is topped with applewood smoked bacon, sharp cheddar, special sauce and a fried egg. Price again is reasonable with most items well under $17.
