Fire at Park Edgewater

A small fire broke out in a unit at the Park Edgewater building (6101 N Sheridan) about an hour ago according to a few followers on our Facebook page. The fire occured on the stove in the kitchen of unit 3H, and the resident was unable to contain it. Fortunately, the Chicago Fire Department and other emergency personnel arrived quickly before it spread to other untis and the fire was extinguised quickly and no one was injured. Smoke was reported throughout the building.
