Congratulations to Edgewater’s Patrick Harrington, who graduated from Saint Patrick High School on May 29 and will continue his studies at Truman College. At St. Pat’s, Harrington was a three-year member of the National Honor Society and a 2012 winner of the Saint Patrick High School Essay Contest. Harrington is the son of Timothy and Joan Harrington.
According to the Chicago Tribune, a 23 year old busser was stabbed in an alley behind T’s Bar & Restaurant (5025 N Clark) last night as he was taking out the trash. The victim was treated and released from the hospital shortly after, and said he didn’t know why he was attacked.
CBS Chicago reports that a father and son both lost control of their motorcycles on Lakeshore Drive at Hollywood on Sunday afternoon, crashing and sending one of the riders over a concrete wall. Each of the men, from Norridge, suffered multiple injuries and are in critial and were charged with DUI’s as their alcohol content was above .08.
