Neighborhood Nights kicks off tonight
As part of a new effort to showcase neighborhood businesses, Alderman Harry Osterman is launching Neighborhood Nights, which kicks off tonight in Uptown. In coordination with Uptown Business Partners, the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce and the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce the event will promote businesses in a different neighborhood each week through promotions, extended hours and special events.
This week’s focus is on the Asian culture of Argyle Street in Uptown. Come out between 5PM and 8PM to enjoy specials and tastings at local restaurants and pick up Lunar New Year gifts from local shops. For a complete listing of participating businesses, click here. The next Neighborhood Nights will be held Tuesday, February 7th in Edgewater.
