Loyola University hosting youth volleyball clinics
The Loyola University’s “Lady Ramblers” women’s volleyball team is hosting youth clinics for young players aged 7-14 this winter. The clinics will be run by current players and staff and provide an opportunity for youth to interact with the team while learning the fundamentals of the game. All proceeds from the clinics go to a team fund raising initiative to host a home tournament in 2012 in the new Gentile Arena.
“The Loyola Volleyball winter youth clinics are a great opportunity for young volleyball players to meet the current players and experience the atmosphere of the new Gentile Arena,” says graduate assistant coach Stefanie Alde.
The clinics consist of a series of 4 two hour sessions (from 3-5pm) on the following dates: February 19th, February 26th and March 4th. For more information, or to register, please contact Stefanie Alde in the Loyola volleyball office via email at salde@luc.edu.
