Hamburger Mary’s is not the same as McDonald’s! It is technically a franchise (not a chain), but each location is locally owned and has local control of pat everything (no national/regional supply chain, etc). Programming and even menu items vary from location to location. he Aville Marys does more to support local and be environmentally conscious than most of the restaurants on the strip.

Hey Randy,
Thanks for your positive reply. The Chamber as as well as the LOLO team have given all business’ the opportunity to participate with personal visits and it is up to the owner to participate. Seeing the newness of the program, inquiries by patrons and mentoring by the existing business’, additional stores and restaurants will only see it beneficial to join. This program is going to flourish…patience grasshopper, it’s coming :-)

This is a great program. Many of us have joined but as you can see there are numerous restaurants that have NOT joined but yet they love the community. Not to name any specifics ( insert names) but just go up Clark street, they all should be on the LoLo list. They want the community to support but what are they doing for the regular customers? For those on the list, I say THANK YOU!

Hamburger Mary’s is a chain which started in San Francisco and has locations in six US states and in Germany. Sure, the locations might technically be locally-owned–but so are most McDonald’s franchises. Come on.
