Catalpa Gardens: Closeout Sale & Lawsuit?

According to the BestChicagoCondos blog and the Chicago Tribune, the developers of the Catalpa Gardens condo building at 1122 W Catalpa are offering deep discounts of between $50K-$150K on the 14 remaining units.

On another note, we recently came across this website: http://www.catalpagardenslawsuit.com/. We’re curious if any owners/residents of the Catalpa Gardens development are aware of this (potential) lawsuit against the developers?

    This is an old lawsuit, we have aware of it since late 2007. A developer of a $30-million condominium project in Edgewater has filed a lawsuit to take control of the project from a partner who faces a felony drug charge. http://www.chicagobusiness.com/cgi-bin/news.pl?id=24386

    They have been closing out these units for years.
