Andersonville Farmer’s Market kicks off
Despite yesterday’s unpredictable weather, I stopped by to check out the Andersonville Farmers Market while it was in full swing. I arrived around 6:15 to see a relatively steady crowd browsing, inspecting produce and tasting samples of tofu and other products. As you might expect there were quite a few booths offering fresh produce. Organic options dominated, while there were also herbs, fruit spreads, cheeses and other items to purchase. If the weather improves for next weeks’ market, I imagine we’ll see a larger turnout.
